Zamfara schoolgirls regain freedom from captors

Students of Government Secondary School in Jangebe, Zamfara State, have regained freedom on Sunday after five days in the hands of their captors.

The released students are currently in the palace of Emir of Anka waiting for transportation to Gusau, the state capital.

Reports on how they were released whether ransom was paid or not was still sketchy as of the time of filling this reports.

The Niger State government yesterday announced the release of 38 people abducted from the Government Science College, Kagara in Rafi local government area of the state.
