A subsidiary of Vitafoam Nigeria PLC, Vono Furniture Products, has announced its willingness to collaborate withprofessionals from other relevant Industries to create value for the society, generate employment opportunities and boost top line and bottom line.

Vitafoam had in 2016 acquired Vono in a strategic move to expand its products portfolio with household multiple products.The company now focuses on a wide range of quality furniture.

Welcoming the executive members of Junior Chambers International (JCI) on facility tour to Vono’s plant in Ikeja, Commercial Director, Vitafoam Nigeria PLC, Mr Sola Owoade, explained that Vono was open to partnership with any professional body for mutual benefits.

According to him, such collaborative efforts would create a positive impact in the society, where quality products is key.

“ Vono is a subsidiary of Vitafoam Nigeria PLC but specifically based on production of Quality Furniture and Metals. The company also supplies all Vitafoam’s Wood and Metals needs. Vono is open to collaboration with professional bodies for enhanced value creation for mutual benefits.The parent company, Vitafoam has the widest distributing foam industry in Nigeria, we are in all the 36 states of the country.

“ Vitafoam’s subsidiaries are strategically positioned for quality products and services. For instance , most of the pillow manufacturing company’s in Nigeria buy their pillows from Vitablom. Vitapart Nigeria Limited manufactures Oil filters for automobiles after subjecting it to several test and it comes out positive.”, Owoade said

The President, JCI, Ikeja Chapter, Mr Ayoola Ibiyode David, commended Vono’s Management for the Company’s  sophisticated machines and equipment and expressed his Chamber’s readiness to collaborate with the company and also for other companies to subscribe to there services.

“ The purpose of the courtesy visit is for a possible collaboration with Vono Furniture Products in reaching out to people under the platform of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in giving back to the society. What we do is to gather professionals together under these Non-governmental Organization to bring positive change to our community. We are young enterprising leaders that are inspired to create a positive change in the society. ”,  David affirmed.

In his Presentation, Vono’s Operations Manager, Mr Raji Shina, explained that Vono’s Trading services included cutting and edge banding of boards, Wood seasonsing and Primary conversion of wood.

“ JCI and Vono’s collaboration is meant to bridge the gap between the quality of product at affordable price, discount on every purchase, project referral and technical support.”, said Shina.

Vono started in the Year 2016 and its past project executedinclude University of Lagos, Ahmadu Bello University , Covenant University and Caleb University amongst others.
